Introduction: Clear Water mud appears quaint and archaic, and tea from this teapot is increasingly pleasant over time. With the addition that it is very popular among potters, and is the material of most wares surviving today, therefore, it is known as Clear Water mud, and is the most widely admired mud for both potters and specters.

Properties: Its humidity is easy to control, and it has high stability and proper stickiness so it can be easily shaped. Old mud need to be heated again for fearing the black border and flaw on it, and extra attention should be paid on removing iron oxide and calcareous when it comes to refinery. Clear Water mud is a kind of pure Zi mud ore, and is called “Pu mud” by potters of Yixing for it is common. Classy mud of this kind is rare and therefore expensive, while shitty mud is everywhere andvery cheap. Collectors are used to call it “red purple mud”, which is the most widely admired mud for both potters and viewers.
